Keep the EARS gain switch at its factory 18 dB — only lower it if the input clips.

Combine mode

Recommended records only the earcup Dirac is sweeping — clean per-ear capture, no open-back crosstalk.

Output (virtual cable)

In Dirac Live, choose this device's capture side as the recording input.

Dirac is set to shared mode, so this cable works.
